A Classic Love for Valentine's Day

Looking for inspiration for Valentine's Day?  Why not visit the real life love story of Victorian poets Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning written in their own words.  In a collaboration between Wellesley College and Baylor University, the public can now read the original 573 hand-written letters by the two lovers during their courtship.  The letters span from the period of January 1845 until shortly after their wedding in September 1846.   Here is Robert's declaration of love from a letter dated January 9, 1946, "there is no denying it .. and spite of all I have been incredulous about .. it does seem that the feat is achieved and that I do love you, plainly, surely, more than ever, more than any day in my life before."  Visit the collection and explore their love.
